November 2011 - Mark Honeg sold 100% of the company stock to Mark Voudrie of Germantown Hills. Mark Voudrie will assume the role of President and Mark Honeg will become Chief Operations Manager. Together, they will lead Cox Transfer into its 40th year of operation in 2012.
August 2011-Congratulations to Dennis Briner, our 2011 Cox Transfer Driver of the Year. Dennis was awarded a $1000 prize for this distinguished honor at the Cox Transfer Company Picnic held on August 27th at Eureka Lake. Dennis is a flatbed driver and has been employed with Cox Transfer since 2007.
May 2011 - Cox Transfer assisted the Midwest Food Bank of Central Illinois with donations and with transportation of disaster relief boxes shipped to the Salvation Army in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services has been busy trying to meet the needs of Alabama and other southern states after tornadoes ravaged the area in April. In a recent letter from Tom Rierker, Treasurer of the Midwest Food Bank Peoria Division, he said "the use of your time, truck and fuel are such an amazing blessing! We are in awe of how God works through the hearts of people like you who uplift our ministry of compassion."
April 2011 - Cox Transfer was presented with the Platinum Award by Great West Casualty Company as part of their 2010 National Safety Awards. The National Safety Awards program recognizes carriers in similar operations with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Participatory award. This past year, the National Safety Awards program drew over 800 participants from across the country. Our congratulations to all of our drivers for their safety conciousness!
